Randall White, Scott City: "The last one I can remember was to get in better shape and lose some weight. It didn't go real well. Too many leftovers from Christmas, I guess."

Greg Hamm, Advance: "Last year my resolution was to lose about 15 pounds, and I ended up losing about 20 pounds. I watched what I ate and lifted weights pretty hard."

Mary Barron, Oran: "A perennial resolution I make is to try and change my lifestyle so I can get my weight down. It's a hard thing for me, and I never make it."

Dotty O'Leary, Friedheim: "I made a resolution to make better grades in school. They aren't as good as I would like, but they have gotten better."

Joey Haines, Cape Girardeau: "I always make a resolution to watch what I eat, lose weight and live healthier. Some years I keep it, and some years I don't."
