The Southeast Missourian asked, "How do you feel about your children going back to school?"
Sandy Miller: "It has been a fun summer, but I have had as much love and companionship as I really want from my children. They need to get back into their structured activities. We all need a little bit of a change."
Karen Sturms: "I'm excited for them, and they are too, because they are going to a new school, South Elementary. Summer was nice, but we're ready to do something different and get into school."
Pat Palisch: "My youngest is a fourth-grader, and he is ready for some structure in his life, to get back and see some friends. My oldest is not quite ready to go back. I'm ready for a change."
Wade Smith: "My daughter has been telling me that she's ready to go back to school. There is no more material, books or games, left at home. I'm also happy school is starting."
Mike Stause: "I'm happy they are going back, but I will have to start getting up early and help get them ready for school. They want to go back to see all their friends."
