Old Town Cape will sponsor a special "Vision Session," next Tuesday and Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church.

Sheri Stuart and Stephanie Redman of the National Trust's Main Street Center in Washington will be in Cape Girardeau to conduct the session.

The Tuesday meeting will be from 5:30 to 9 p.m. to create a vision for the city's Main Street program.

"We need input as we created a vision for the future of Old Town Cape," said Judith Anne Lang, chairperson of the Old Town Cape board of directors. "People are urged to attend this important meeting." A light meal will be available at the meeting.

The Wednesday meeting, 5 to 6:30 p.m., will be a review of the results of the previous evening.

The Old Town Cape Board needs a count of people who will attend and want people to call Lang at 339-1766.

Four board members attended the recent National Main Street meeting in Boston.

An ad for a Cape Girardeau Main Street manager appears in the latest issue of the Main Street publication. The board hopes to fill the position by July 1.
