The Missouri Department of Natural Resources will sponsor two free concerts by the Old Time Ozark String Band Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday's concert will begin at 7 p.m. at the Trail of Tears State Park amphitheater behind the visitor center.
Sunday's concert is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. in the picnic area at the Bollinger Mill state historic site. Visitors should bring lawn chairs.
The Old Time Ozark Mountain String Band re-creates rural music of the 1860s in toe-tapping hoedowns, lingering waltzes and the beauty of ballads spun from the post Civil War Ozarks.
For more information call Trail of Tears at 334-1711 or Bollinger Mill at 243-4591.
