CAIRO, Ill. -- Following a temporary lane reduction Monday morning for an inspection, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said the U.S. 51/U.S. 60/U.S. 62 Ohio River Bridge -- also known as the Cairo bridge -- between Wickliffe, Ky., and Cairo will also be reduced on Tuesday.

Traffic will be restricted to one lane from 8 a.m. to about 3:30 p.m. for the repair of "an armored edge on a section of bridge decking," according to a news release from the transportation cabinet.
