MINER, Mo. -- A Kentucky woman remains in intensive care after nearly drowning on Tuesday.

Diane Hurley of Marion, Ky., a guest at the Ramada Inn, was found floating in the pool by an another guest said chief Tom Mitchell of the Miner Police Department.

Police reports indicate that the guest who found Hurley immediately began CPR on the woman while his daughter called 911.

When officers arrived, the woman was not breathing and no pulse was found. Officers continued administering CPR and after about 10 minutes, they found a faint and rapid pulse. The woman was taken by ambulance to Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston and later transferred to Lourde's Hospital in Paducah, Ky.
