SIKESTON -- Officers with the Sikeston Department of Public Safety are still looking for the answers to a Monday night double shooting, where neither witnesses nor victims can provide much information.

DPS director Drew Juden said a gunfight erupted on the corner of Branum and William Streets Monday at about 6 p.m. Officers responding to the reported disturbance heard approximately 10 shots.

Police are searching for a 5-foot, 5-inch black male weighing 160 pounds who is approximately 30 years old for questioning concerning both the shooting and for giving false information to the hospital.

He is described as

Anyone with information is asked to call Sikeston DPS at 471-1500. "The big thing we are looking for here is for someone who wasn't involved to tell us the truth," Juden said.
