OBITUARIES

SCOTT CITY -- Georgia Alice Shaw, 69, died, Friday, July 25, 1997, at her home.

She was born March 13, 1928 in Rockview daughter of Guy Grandvil and Eliza Isabelle Mills Smith. She and H.R. Shaw were married Oct. 19, 1991, in Scott City. He survives.

Shaw was a seamstress and employed at Thorngate in Chaffee. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include a son, David Garland of Chaffee; a stepson, Richard Todd Shaw of Seattle, Wash.; two stepdaughters, Stephanie Anderson of Sikeston and Christi Shaw of Scott City; a granddaughter; and three step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may visit after 4 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Assembly of God Church in Scott City with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Burial will be in the Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
