Shirley Bone

CHARLESTON -- Shirley R. Bone, 63, of Indianapolis, Ind., died Wednesday, July 23, 1997, at Hendricks County Hospital in Danville, Ind.

He was born Oct. 3, 1933, in Charleston, son of Helen Brown Bone. He and his wife, Phyllis, were married July 26, 1982.

Bone had lived in Indianapolis 15 years, where he was employed at Fleischman's Yeast. He retired in 1995. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Brian Bone of Indianapolis; two daughters, Crystal Bone and Angela Anderson of Indianapolis; his mother of Charleston; three brothers, Jerry Bone of Charleston, David Bone of Ironton, Ronny Bone of Southaven, Miss.; two sisters, Margaret Denbow of Puxico, Joann Lyons of Garland, Texas; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Howard Welches officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
