Beverly Horton
SIKESTON -- Beverly Horton, 37, of Sikeston died Sunday, July 20, 1997, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 21, 1959, in rural Charleston, daughter of Elbert Horton Sr. and Mary Lee Riggin.
Horton attended Charleston High School. She was a certified medical technician.
Survivors include a son, Anthony Horton of Sikeston; a daughter, Schemekia Horton, and her mother, both of Charleston; three brothers, Elbert Horton Jr. and David Riggin of Charleston, Charles Bankhead of Springfield, Ill.; five sisters, Maggie and Evelyn Horton, Audrey and Glenis Riggin, all of Charleston, Carolyn Lyons of Normal, Ill.; and a special friend, Robert Triplett of Sikeston.
Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston from 7-8 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Bowden Civic Center in Charleston, with Robert Lyons officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.

Cecil Eakins
Cecil Earl Eakins, 73, 1507 N. Henderson, died Tuesday, July 22, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Sept. 5, 1923, at Holcomb, son of Edward and Zelma Summers Eakins. He and Margie L. Casteel were married March 31, 1943, at Jackson.
Eakins owned and operated Eakins Heating and Air Conditioning 35 years. He was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ, Disabled American Veterans, VFW, and American Legion. He served with the U.S. Army in the European Theater during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Saundra Draper, Delores Enderle and LaDonna Ruebel, all of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Claude Eakins of Wisconsin, Scott Eakins of Arkansas; six sisters, Erma Ellinger of Scott City, Vergie Kies of Cape Girardeau, Hazel Hennecke and Rosie Dreyer of Jackson, Oma Clark of Illinois, Lou Fiegel of Arkansas; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-9 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Ernest Jordan officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum, with services by VFW Post 3838.

Marion Molloy
SIKESTON -- Marion Francis Molloy, 60, Sikeston Route 2, died Tuesday, July 22, 1997, at her home, following an extended illness.
She was born April 29, 1937, in Elk River, Minn., daughter of Frank F. and Zedora Draper Belanger. She and Daniel Thomas Molloy were married June 10, 1955, at Elk River. He died July 8, 1989.
Molloy had been an assistant manager at Dibbo's Diner in Mora, Minn. The Molloys moved to Sikeston in 1974 from Mora. She worked at Jay's Fried Chicken seven years, and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sons, Daniel Molloy II of Bernie, Staff Sgt. Patrick Molloy of Ft. Leonard Wood; two daughters, Cindy and Barbara Molloy of the home; her mother of Mora; four brothers, Lloyd Belanger of Zimmerman, Minn., Frank and Mike Belanger of Mora, Fred Belanger of Bremerton, Wash.; a sister, Rosemary Belanger of Mora; five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Thursday. A prayer service will be held at 7:30.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Church, with the Rev. Robert Schumacher officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Funeral service for Eshcol Willis of Olive Branch will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Trinity Assembly of God Church. The Revs. Carl Hester and Billy Don Heady will officiate, with burial in Olive Branch Cemetery.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms after 5 p.m. Thursday, and Friday from 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Willis, 84, died Monday, July 21, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 22, 1913, near Olive Branch, daughter of Charles and Clara Barnett LeSar. She and Roy Allen Willis were married Aug. 19, 1934. He died Feb. 3, 1995.
Willis was a member of Trinity Assembly of God.
Survivors include a daughter, Darlyn Pearman of Kissimmee, Fla.; a son, Gregory Willis of Shreveport, La.; a sister, Irma Hagler of Olive Branch; two brothers, Travis LeSar of Florissant, Forrest LeSar of Park Forest, Ill.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, and two brothers.
