OAK RIDGE SCIENCE TEACHER ATTENDS MEETING

OAK RIDGE -- Melody F. Green of Oak Ridge High School was one of 79 science teachers attending a workshop titled Teachers, Industry and Environment. The program was sponsored by Central Missouri State University chemistry department.

The workshop is also sponsored by the Chemical Council of Missouri and its menber companies, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. The program is deisgned to provide new ideas for classroom activities and includes discussion about the relationships between Missouri's chemical industry, academic institutions and the environment.
