A tornado watch is in effect until 3 a.m. for counties in Missouri and Illinois, according to the National Weather Service in Paducah, Ky. The Missouri counties included in the watch are: Bollinger, Butler, Cape Girardeau, Carter, Crawford, Dent, Douglas, Franklin, Howell, Iron, Jefferson, Madison, Oregon, Ozark, Perry, Phelps, Reynolds, Ripley, Scott, Shannon, St. Charles, St. Francois, St. Louis, Ste. Genevieve, Stoddard, Texas, Washington, Wayne, Wright and also the City of St. Louis...

The Missouri counties included in the watch are: Bollinger, Butler, Cape Girardeau, Dunklin, Iron, Madison, Mississippi, New Madrid, Pemiscot, Perry, Reynolds, Ripley, Scott, Stoddard, St. Francois, Ste. Genevieve and Wayne.

Alexander and Union counties in Illinois are also under the watch.
