Prospective students and their parents are being invited to "Discover Notre Dame" tonight.
The Cape Girardeau Catholic high school will hold an informational evening from 6-8 p.m. Bishop John Leibrect of the Springfield-Cape Girardeau Diocese will be the event's special guest.
Sponsored by the school's marketing committee, the evening is being held to inform prospective students (in grades 6-8) and their parents about the school and its educational mission.
The eveing will begin with a general session in the school gymnasium. In addition to Bishop Leibrect's address and a performance by the school choir, Sister Mary Ann Fischer, Notre Dame principal, will make a presentation.
Following will be small group presentations throughout the school. Included in these sessions will be discussions on topics ranging from academic to estracurricular activities to finances.
The evening will also feature prizes, refreshments and socializing.
Notre Dame is located at 1912 Ritter Drive in Cape Girardeau.
