Students at Notre Dame High School bucked the national trend and supported President George Bush for re-election.
Students participated in a nationwide poll through Channel 1, an educational network available to schools across the country.
About 3.4 million students voted and nationally Clinton earned 43 percent of the vote. Bush got 27 percent and Perot got 24 percent.
Students at Notre Dame supported Bush with 52 percent of the vote. Clinton captured 25 percent of the vote and Ross Perot got 18 percent. Students could also write in a candidate; 5 percent voted in that "other" category.
Seniors most strongly supported the president, with 60 percent voting for Bush; 22 percent voted for Clinton, 13 percent for Perot and 5 percent for other.
Juniors voted 56 percent for Bush, 18 percent for Clinton; 20 percent for Perot and 6 percent for other.
Sophomores voted 53 percent for Bush, 26 percent for Clinton, 15 percent for Perot and 6 percent for other.
And freshmen voted 42 percent for Bush, 31 percent for Clinton, 23 percent for Perot and 4 percent for other.
Students voted Tuesday. National results were tabulated Wednesday.
