NOMINATIONS SOUGHT FOR WOMANCARE AWARD

Nominations are being accepted for the 1995 Womancare Award.

The award recognizes a woman from the Cape Girardeau area who has demonstrated outstanding professional achievement.

The Womancare Conference will be held March 3 and 4 at the Cape Girardeau Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Convention Center.

Previous recipients include astronaut and Jackson-area native Linda Godwin, international opera singer and Cape Girardeau native Judith Farris, Cape Girardeau businesswoman Judith Wilferth, local journalist Judith Crow and Patricia Washington, a Cape Girardeau native and press secretary to St. Louis Mayor Freeman Bosley Jr.
