Cape Girardeau police will enforce additional "no parking" signs around Arena Park during the SEMO District fair.

Police will place the signs around Arena Park on Friday and will begin enforcing the sings Sunday, according to a news release from the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Vehicles left in the no-parking areas will be towed at the owner's expense, and a traffic ticket will be issued.

Signs also will be placed in Capaha Park, North West End Boulevard and Perry Avenue to restrict parking for the fair. Only vehicles used in the parade will be allowed in the park.

Several streets will be closed for the parade, including West End Boulevard between Broadway and Normal Streets at 8 a.m., Broadway west of West End Boulevard, Kingshighway between Broadway and Cape Rock Drive and Kingshighway from Hopper Street to Kiwanis Street.
