NFL player to sign autographs for Hooper scholarship fund

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Edgar Jones will sign autographs from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at Chick-fil-A in Cape Girardeau.

Each autograph is $5, and proceeds will go to the Dominic Hooper Scholarship Fund. In addition, the restaurant will donate a portion of sales made from 5 to 8 p.m. to the scholarship fund during Spirit Night.

Hooper, 17, of Scott City died in February from injuries sustained in an ATV accident. He was a senior at Scott City High School.

Jones was an All-American defensive end at Southeast Missouri State University.
