Marble Hill -- Incumbents lost more than they won in Bollinger County voting Tuesday.
In the Marble Hill Ward 1 alderman race, Wilma Moody defeated incumbent Mitchell Eaker by eight votes. Charles Bollinger ran unopposed and netted 106 votes for the Ward 2 position.
Two new faces will be on the Woodland Board of Education as Randy Masters and Linda Tipton defeated incumbents Kelly Francis and Gary Lutes.
Harold Miinch and Junior Cook defeated four others for two seats on the Meadow Heights Board of Education.
Jan Van Es and Tim A. Burchett won seats on the Zalma Board of Education. They defeated four other candidates for the two seats.
Incumbent Janet DeBrock lost her seat to two newcomers on the Leopold Board of Education. Roy Van de Ven and Dorothy Van Gennip replace DeBrock and another board member who vacated her seat.
A runoff election must be conducted in the race for Zalma Village Board. Patricia Burchett and Roy Lingle tied for last place in a field of six candidates who ran for the five seats on the board. Linda Pape, Colette Wilfong, Georgia Cookemboo and Delores Jackson all were elected.
