In addition to honoring the best of the past year's theater productions, the River City Players also announced the coming year's schedule."Bus Stop," directed by Suzanne Scherer of Jackson, will be first on the docket. It will hit the stage in February.
In May, Stacey Storey will direct "Play Dead," a murder mystery which includes audience -participation. "It has a very clever script," said Jackson's Ann Swanson. "I think people will enjoy that a whole lot."Swanson will take the directorial chair in August for "Nunsense II," playing on the success of the River City Players' hit Sept., 1998 musical-comedy "Nunsense.""The original version a such a hit, we decided to go ahead and do a follow-up," Swanson said. "Hopefully we'll be able to have most of the same cast members in it.""Having Our Say: the Delaney Sisters' First 100 Years, directed by Chuck Ross, will wrap up the year.
