Gerald W. Landewee has accepted the position of Principal for Immaculate Conception School for the 1994-95 School year. He currently teaches at Nell Holcomb School and resides in Cape Girardeau. He has had teaching experience in Grades 1, 6, 7, 8. In March, Landewee was honored at the Regional Missouri Teachers' Association Meeting as one of three outstanding CTA Leaders of the Year in Southeast Missouri.
He received his B.S. in Elementary Education from Southeast Missouri State University in May of 1989. He received his M.A. in Elementary School Administration from the same University in May of 1993. Currently, he is taking courses towards acquiring the Specialist's Degree in School Administration.
His parents are Harold and Agnes Landewee of Oran.
He succeeds Roxanne Pearce as principal. She is currently seeking an administrative position with the Kansas City School District.
