Cape Girardeau's newest nightclub opens Friday.
Legends, located at 610 South Kingshighway, will be open Wednesday through Saturday nights from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m..
The house band, "Tain't EZ" will perform each night from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
"Tain't EZ" is made up of four local musicians who play all different types of music. Band member Jeff Allen, lead guitar, said the four have diversified backgrounds but specialize in harmony.
"The harmony possibilities will be a strong part of this band," Allen said. "We sound great and we're going to keep getting better."
Allen said the band tries to play "something for everyone.
"We're going to do everything from Garth Brooks to Janet Jackson."
Other band members are Danny Tetley, drums, Mike Burgfeld, bass, and Barbara Chiles, keyboard.
Chiles plans to audition for the Nashville Network TV show "Be a Star" next month. She also sings for the group.
Legends is owned by Jimberly Manjarrez. Wednesday nights will be Ladies Night, and country western dance classes will be offered each Thursday night.
