NEW NAME AND NEW LOCATION FOR LINDA'S QUILTS

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Linda's Quilt Place and Custom Dressing has a new name and a new location.

Linda Cartner recently relocated her quilt business to 213 S. Plaza Way and renamed it Linda's Quilt Place and Custom Design.

"We completed our move last week," said Cartner, who moved to the Plaza area from N. Sprigg St. "We have more space, it's all on floor, and we have more parking for our customers.

Cartner said her business had also expanded its service.

"We are going into custom designing of quilts," she said. "We'll go into people's homes and help them with designs for curtains, table covers and comforters."

The new operation will be open 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday.
