CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Ninty percent of the space at University Mall in Carbondale is leased, following the opening of five new stores recently Lerner/New York, Dejaiz, Structure, Express, and Bath and Body Works.
Mall manager Rick Murphy said four more businesses Bookland, Hibbetts Sporting Goods, Taco Johns, and Burger & Sub Express were expected to open within two weeks.

"That will put us at about 90 percent leased." said Murphy.
Two more anchor stores are expected to open Nov. 1 Famous Barr and Montgomery Ward.
