A New Madrid woman was killed Wednesday evening in a single vehicle accident south of Portageville.Janice Burnes, 40 of New Madrid was killed when her vehicle ran off the road at a curve and overturned. She was not wearing a seatbelt.The accident occurred at 7 p.m., two miles south of Portageville, according to reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.Burnes was taken to the Pemiscot County Morgue...
