Jackson city officials said Wednesday that the recycling center at 508 Eastview Court will shorten Saturday hours to 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. beginning Nov. 5.

Reduced Saturday hours will run through March 31. Monday through Friday business will continue as usual, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Recyclable materials collected at the center include cardboard, newspaper, magazines, office paper, junk mail, Styrofoam, grocery bags, clear, green and brown glass, all plastic containers, aluminum, tin and steel cans, batteries and electronic equipment.
