Daina Rae's, a craft supplies and gift shop, opened Saturday at 130 N. Main in Cape Girardeau.
"We offer many craft supplies patterns, paints, lace and ribbon," said Daina Eyler, owner of the store. "Our gift selections include Victorian-era gifts, greeting cards, lace doilies, aprons, baskets, and the Wyndham collection of bath products."
Eyler will also offer craft classes.
The store will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
Eyler and her husband recently moved to Cape Girardeau from Simi Valley, Calif.
"I was a secretary in California," said Eyler. "I operated a crafts business out of my home."
Eyler's husband, Larry Eyler, is retired from the Los Angeles school system.
"We stopped in Cape Girardeau en route to Burlington, Iowa," said Eyler. "We liked the city, spent several days here, and decided to stay."
