Oak Ridge R-6 Schools will be making do with a part-time principal this school year.
Shirley Wright, high school principal, left the district this summer, accepting a position as Ste. Genevieve Middle School principal. Replacing her will be Bill Bacchus, a retired Charleston school administrator. Bacchus will work in a part-time capacity.
In another personnel change, Paul Lynch was hired as assistant principal at the high school. He will also coach basketball and baseball and will serve as athletic director and director of transportations.
Classes begin Wednesday.
