Concord Publishing House recently hired Brad Hollerbach to work with the Southeast Missourian family of newspapers as digital integration manager.

A student of communications, Hollerbach is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, where he earned a degree in journalism and marketing. He worked in newspaper production at the Southeast Missourian while attending Southeast.

After graduation in 1989, he worked in St. Louis for The Composing Room, Borgmeyer & Musen Advertising, and Design Resource. He was an application specialist at Design Resource and was responsible for troubleshooting work for a variety of clients including Simon and Schuster, Anheuser-Busch and Levi Strauss.

His duties include assisting in the implementation, training and management of the Southeast Missourian's new circulation database marketing system operating on an IBM RS/6000. He will also assist in the design, integration, implementation and training of new pre-press digital imaging equipment.

Hollerbach is a native of Ste. Genevieve.

MARION, Ill. Becky Baker of Carterville, Ill., has joined WPSD-TV's Marion, Ill., office as an account executive serving Southern Illinois and Southeast Missouri.

Baker has seven years of advertising background, including four years as creative services supervisor with the Southern lllinoisan newspaper at Carbondale.

She also has worked as production manager at the Daily Egyptian in Carbondale and as account executive for KEZS-FM in Cape Girardeau.

Baker, who resides in Carterville, has served as vice president of the Carterville Business and Professional Women.

Terry L. Dublin has been appointed master control operator at KFVS-12, announced Arnold Killian, chief engineer at the Cape Girardeau television station.

Dublin previously served as sports photographer and co-produced several sports programs for WPSD-TV in Paducah, Ky. He is a graduate of Murray State University, Murray, Ky.

Daniel J. "Duke" McVey, president of the Missouri AFL-CIO, has been elected to the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Missouri Board of Trustees.

McVey, 56, of Jefferson City, replaces the late Lawrence A. Langford, who was district director of the Oil, Chemical and Atomic Workers District 5, AFL-CIO.

McVey has served as president of the Missouri AFL-CIO since 1982. He has been a member of Pipefitters Local 562 of St. Louis since 1954.

He serves on the Missouri Job Training Coordinating Council and the University of Missouri President's State Advisory Council for Extension.

Robert R. Grebing has been appointed vice president and loan officer at Capital Bank of Cape Girardeau.

Grebing is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin, the University of Nebraska School of Continuing Education, Washington University School of Continuing Education, National Trust School and Dale Carnegie.

Prior to joining Capital Bank, Grebing was vice president of First Exchange Bank of St. Louis. He previously served as president, trust officer and director of Jackson Exchange Bank and Trust Co. of Jackson from 1971 to 1984, and as president, chief executive officer and director of Southeast Missouri Bank of Cape Girardeau from 1984-1988.

Grebing's office is at 101 West Main in Jackson. Grebing and his wife reside in Jackson.

Rickie Scott has joined Regional Eyecare Center Inc., 1749 Independence.

Scott, a graduate of Van Dam Hospital School of Nursing in the Netherlands, has worked in several hospitals in Northern Europe.

She started work in ophthalmology in the U.S. in 1979, and has worked throughout the U.S. Most recently she worked in the University of South Carolina Department of Ophthalmology, where she was active in research studies in pediatric ophthalmology and the effect of new medications for people infected with the HIV virus. She recently passed her NCLEX RN examination in Missouri.

With the addition of Scott. Drs. Beverly Cleair, Robert Felker and Thomas Gibbons are expanding the eye care center to include in-office vision therapy, a treatment recommended for people with visually related learning disorders.
