George Cash is new store manager at Central Hardware in Cape Girardeau.
Cash, a native of Mt. Vernon, Ill., has more than 13 years management experience with Central Hardware at five different St. Louis locations. He served as store manager at the South County Central Hardware store more than a year before transferring to Cape Girardeau.
Cash attended Belleville, Ill., Area College and Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. He served three years in the Marine Corps, then joined the Air Force, retiring after 20 years in service. He was a member of the Titan II launch crew in the Air Force for 11 years.
Cash and his wife, the former Vickie Jones, reside in Jackson.

David Butler has joined VanMatre Buick in Cape Girardeau as a salesman.
Butler, a Sikeston native, recently returned to Southeast Missouri from Fort Walton Beach, Fla. He was employed for nine years at Sam Taylor Buick Cadillac in Florida. Beginning in 1983, he served as a salesman for six years and then as business manager for two years.
He also served as customer relations manager for one year at Sam Taylor Buick Cadillac.
Born and raised in Sikeston, Butler graduated from Sikeston High School in 1976.
He will reside in Cape Girardeau.

Don White has been named contract administrator for the Materials Management Program of Health Services Corporation of America (HSCA). Tom Jamieson, president of HSCA, made the announcement.
White brings an extensive background in health-care materials management to his new post.
Most recently, he was materials manager for St. John's Regional Health Center in Springfield. He was previously employed by NCR in Kansas City, where he worked first as a branch systems manager and then as executive account representative.
He was also a data processing manager at First National Bank in Sikeston.
White has served as a member of HSCA's Materials Management Contract Advisory Committee, representing the Sisters of Mercy Health System.
HSCA, founded in 1969, is one of the oldest and largest shared service organizations meeting the needs of health-care providers. HSCA maintains it headquarters in Cape Girardeau.
