Jennifer Westrich has joined Earley, Janssen, Begley & Company, 2103 Themis, as an accountant.
Westrich is a 1985 graduate of Central High School and a December graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She has a bachelor of science degree in business administration with a major in accounting.
She worked part time for the firm while attending college.
Westrich, her husband, Mark Westrich, and daughter, Jessica, 5, reside at Cape Girardeau Route 2. She is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Kirk Bowman of Cape Girardeau.

M. Scott Stanfield has joined W.E. Walker Co. as an account executive.
Joe Stahly, president of the firm, announced Stanfield's appointment this week.
Stanfield is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a bachelor of science degree in finance.
The Walker firm, 230 N. Fountain, has been in Cape Girardeau for 77 years. It offers commercial, homeowners, automobile and marine insurance.
Stanfield served in the Army for four years and was a special agent with Army intelligence. He served in the Desert Shield-Desert Storm operation.
Prior to entering the Army, he was involved in sales.
Stanfield, his wife, Lisa, and daughters, Audrey and Michelle, reside in Cape Girardeau.

Stan Thompson has joined Amerifirst Bank in Cape Girardeau.
Jim Goble, president of the bank, announced Thompson's appointment as executive vice president and senior lending officer.
Thompson, who has 20 years of banking experience, will oversee the bank's loan department and manage Amerifirst's loan portfolio.
Thompson is a graduate of Lilbourn High School. He attended Southeast Missouri State University and Arkansas State University at Jonesboro. He is a graduate of the Louisiana State University School of Banking at Baton Rouge.
He served as president and chief executive officer of Delta Counties Bank in Sikeston from 1986 to 1990. He was president and chairman of the board of directors at Mercantile Bank in Sikeston from 1983 to 1986. Prior to 1983, he served as executive vice president of a Morrilton, Ark., bank. In the mid-1970s, he worked as an Arkansas state bank examiner.
Thompson and his wife, Kay, reside in Cape Girardeau. They are parents of three children, Justin, 8, Christy, 21, and Kevin, 19.

ST. LOUIS Delta Dental Plan of Missouri has appointed Karen M. Bettlach as public relations representative.
Prior to joining Delta Dental Plan, Bettlach was communications specialist with the Hospital Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, and has a master of arts degree in media communications from Webster University.
The Delta firm has a branch office in Cape Girardeau.
