Clerks are required by law to provide the voters with new cards every two years.

For those who wish to vote in the April 6 election, the deadline to register is March 10. Registered voters in Cape Girardeau County who do not receive a new ID card by the second week of February should contact the County Clerk's office in Jackson at 243-3547.
