NEW BOOKS ARRIVE AT LIBRARY

Several new titles have arrived at the main Jackson facility of the Riverside Regional Library.

Adult titles include The ACT for Dummies, by Suzee Vik; Brookman US, UN and Canada Stamps & Postal Collectibles 2000, Century of Flight, Mary Engelbreit's Sweet Treats, by Mary Engelbreit; The Complete Photo Guide to Home Repair, Faded Coat of Blue, by Owen Parry; The Donovan Legacy, by Nora Roberts and The Twisted Root, by Anne Perry.

In the children and young adult division, titles include Happy Birthday Maisy, by Lucy Cousins; When I was Five, by Arthur Howard; A Beasty Story, by Bill Martin; Axle Annie, by Robin Pulver; A Light in the Storm, by Karen Hesse; Clifford's Big Book of Things to Know, by Norman Bridwell; Fabulous Monsters, by Marcia Williams; Look-alikes, by Joan Steiner; At the Plate with Mark McGwire, At the Plate with Sammy Sosa, by Matt Christopher; Bachelor Girl, by Roger Lea McBride; Walker's Crossing, by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor; and If You Came Softly, by Jacqueline Woodson.

The book VFW was given by Jackson Memorial VFW Post 10495.

The library and branches will close at 4 p.m. Dec. 9 only. Other closings in December will be Dec. 24-25 and Dec. 31 at Noon. The library will also be closed Jan. 1.
