NATIONAL GUARD'S 1140TH HOLDS ITS ANNUAL PICNIC

The 1140th Engineer Batallion recently held its annual family day picnic and celebration. More than 250 people attended.

Company Commander Duane K. Eastman, 1SG Jimmie R. Winder and the company expressed their appreciation to the nearly 40 area merchants that gave prizes and gift certificates to be given away at the picnic.

"The Army National Guard, and the 1140th in particular has many supporters in this area," said Art Reynolds, retention NCO with the 1140th. "We appreciate that support in everything we do."
