NAMED TO BOARD

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Southeast Missouri State University president Dr. Kala M. Stroup has been appointed to the editorial board of the University of Wisconsin's national business journal, "Small Business Forum."

Catherine Stover, editor of the publication, announced Stroup's appointment recently.

The Small Business Forum is an educational journal that is designed to help small business owners improve their competitive edge. Subscribers to the publication include business owners, business professors, Small Business Development Centers, and libraries.

Only articles that pass the review of editorial board are printed in The Business Forum. Board members serve for one year.

Stroup is chairman of the nine-member National Small Business Development Center Advisory Board, which oversees funding and continuance of Small Business Development Centers nationwide.
