JACKSON -- Marc Cook has been promoted to marketing manager for Northeast Diesel Service of Jackson.
Cook, who has been involved in the mining and trucking industry for a number of years, and had been serving as sales and public relations representative for the firm, is also currently working toward a degree in marketing at Southeast Missouri State University.
Northeast Diesel Service, which specializes in fuel injection systems for agriculture, trucking and automotive markets, is owned by Cleo C. White and associates of Jonesboro, Ark. The firm has six locations throughout Missouri and Arkansas and serves a nine-state area.
Cook's responsibilities will include managing the company's sales force, public relations and new product line development.
Cook and his wife, Cheryl, live in Cape Girardeau.
