Educational activities and materials will be designed specifically for this age group. Children will learn by singing, playing a variety of instruments and creating their own music. Puppets will be used to demonstrate musical techniques, McCutchan said.

McCutchan and graduate assistant Alicia Wappel will be instructors of the classes, which will be held Monday-Thursday, from June 15-July 16. Four-year-olds will meet from 9:30-10:15 a.m. and 5-year-olds from 10:30-11:15 a.m.

The registration deadline has been extended to June 5. The course fee of $80 includes all needed materials. To register, call the music department at (314) 651-2378.
