MUSIC ACADEMY FALL RECITAL SUNDAY

The fall recital of the Southeast Missouri Music Academy will be presented at 2 p.m. Sunday in Brandt Music Hall on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University.

The recital will feature string students Kirk Miller and Bryn McDougall; flute student Blaine Oxley; and piano students Katie Greer, Patricia Cheung, Emily Scherer, John Detore, Laura Tenholder, Adam Bryant, Carol Jackson, Diana Weaver and Matt Young.

Jackson, Weaver and Yount will perform works in preparation for the Missouri Music Teachers Association state piano competition this month.

The recital is sponsored by orthodontist, Dr. Don Dennington, who has made a donation of at least $500 to the academy.

The performers are students of Sara Edgerton, Chadie Fruewald, Becky Fulgham and Paul Thompson.

The public is invited.
