Three students from Southeast Missouri were recently inducted into Phi Eta Sigma. They are students at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
The students are Christopher Bucher, son of Frank and Margie Bucher of Kelso; Tara Heisserer, daughter of David and Patricia Heisserer of Cape Girardeau; and Noelle Jedan, daughter of Dieter and Nancy Jedan of Cape Girardeau.
The national honor society encourages and rewards academic excellence among first-year college students. To be considered for membership, students must attain at least a 3.5 grade-point average during their first semester or year.
