SIKESTON, Mo. -- The Missouri Department of Transportation is offering seminars on commercial vehicle safety regulations to help commercial motor carriers comply with state and federal laws. A seminar is scheduled from 8 a.m. to noon April 6 at MoDOT's Southeast District office in Sikeston. The classes explain the training, paperwork and other requirements truck drivers and their companies must fulfill to comply with state and federal law. Reservations are limited to motor carriers, their employees and commercial vehicle drivers. There is no cost to attend. For reservations, contact MoDOT Motor Carrier Services at 866-831-6277, extension 6, or register online at www.modot.org/mcs/TrainingOutreach.htm. Additional training dates are scheduled in other areas of the state and can be found on the website.
