An Oak Ridge, Mo., mother and daughter suffered moderate injuries in an accident north of Jackson, Mo., Friday.
Driver Cynthia Sharrock, 37, and daughter Marky Sharrock, age unknown, were both taken to St. Francis Medical Center after the 8:03 p.m. accident. It occurred on Route D, five miles north of Jackson.
Another passenger, Amanda King of Oak Ridge, had minor injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle, Judith Sanders, 49, of Oak Ridge, was not injured.
The Missouri Highway Patrol said Sanders' vehicle turned left in front of the Sharrock vehicle. Sanders was issued a summons for failure to yield. Sharrock was issued a summons for failure to wear a seat belt.
Gary Ramsey, 35, of Perryville, Mo., received serious injuries in an accident Thursday on Highway 51, just north of County Road 708 in Perry County. He was taken to Southeast Missouri Hospital by helicopter after the 12:50 p.m. accident.
His passenger, 23-year-old George Johnson of Perryville, was taken to Perry County Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries.
The patrol said the Ramsey vehicle crossed the center line, went off the west side of the road and struck a dirt embankment.
