Thomas Alford, 47, of Morehouse was killed when his car ran off Route Z in Scott County about a mile north of Morehouse. It struck a culvert and overturned, ejecting him from the vehicle, the Missouri Highway Patrol said.
The accident occurred at 1:30 a.m.
