ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Parts of Missouri are getting another slippery mix of sleet and freezing rain.

The winter storm that arrived Thursday continued Friday. Around the state, schools and businesses are closed and roads continue to be slippery.

Several accidents were reported Friday morning on St. Louis area interstate highways. Forecasters are calling for an additional tenth of an inch of ice accumulation on Friday in the St. Louis region.

In the Springfield area, light snow snow and freezing fog were making road conditions dangerous.

Hundreds of accidents have been reported around the state since the storm arrived Thursday. Missouri Department of Transportation crews continue to try and keep roads clear.
