Other recent titles include (adult) Reader's Digest Great Big Book of Children's Games, by Debra Wise; The Art of Freshwater Fishing, Biting the Moon, by Martha Grimes; (children) The New Place, by Warren Hanson. New adult paperback westerns are also available.
Tuesday the library will hold a "Doggie Day" summer program, with the Cape Girardeau Humane Society, at 204 S. Union in Jackson.
Deadline to turn in book logs for summer reading is July 28.
