DORENA, Mo. - Two people sustained moderate injuries Monday evening after their car overturned.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Jessica R. Williams, 20, of Sikeston, Mo., was traveling northbound on Hwy. 77 when her 1999 Pontiac ran off the roadway and overturned around 9:45 p.m.
A 16-year-old male occupant from Sikeston was treated for minor injuries at the scene. Williams and a 15-year-old male passenger from East Prairie, Mo., were taken by ambulance to Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, where they were treated for moderate injuries.
All three people in the Pontiac were not wearing their seat belt.
