BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- The case against a Bell City, Missouri, man charged with molesting a child has been pushed to September.
Shawn Al Green, who was arrested in April, is charged with two counts of statutory sodomy with a person younger than 14 and first-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
Three dates have been set in the case for coming months.
A standard hearing is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in a Dunklin County courtroom for an update on the case's status. A pretrial conference is slated for 10:30 a.m., Aug. 13 when all pretrial motions will be due.
In addition, the case has been scheduled for a two-day jury trial before Judge Robert Mayer. It is slated for Sept. 4 and 5, with proceedings beginning at 9 a.m. each day.
The charges brought against Green stem from interviews with his alleged victim dating back to December 2010. Those interviews involved the Missouri Children's Division and forensic interviewers from the Ozark Foothills Child Advocacy Center in Doniphan, Mo.
On April 26, 2012, Green was released on his own recognizance, with special stipulations, as the case advanced through the system.
Several hearings were continued throughout the year, and Stoddard County assistant prosecuting attorney Andrew Rehmer filed a motion Oct. 23, 2012, to revoke Green's probation.
On Oct. 24, 2012, Judge Joe Satterfield considered the motion and revoked Green's probation. A warrant was issued for his arrest and allows Green no bond. He was arrested in November 2012 in Texarkana, Texas.
He remains in custody.
