The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold an open house Feb. 18 to allow public input on upcoming bridge improvement projects in Scott County. From 4 to 6 p.m., staff will be on hand to talk about the 13 bridges it will rebuild as part of its Safe and Sound project, according to a news release from MoDOT. Design-build projects include total bridge replacements. Upcoming bridge projects include Route ZZ, Route DD, Route W, Highway 91, Highway 77, Route EE, Route Z and Route H. Work on some bridges is expected to begin as early as the summer and are expected to be complete within 45 to 60 days after work is started.
