Missouri House of Representatives Speaker Tim Jones will visit Cape Girardeau on Friday to speak about his current agenda for the ongoing legislative session.
Jones has been traveling throughout the state promoting his "4G" plan for policies since the start of the new year. He will also make public appearances in West Plains, Mo., and Poplar Bluff, Mo., on Friday. The agenda, according to Jones' office, is called "4G" to represent support for "growth and opportunity, guaranteeing access to a great education, guarding and protecting Missouri values and generating affordable and abundant energy."
Jones is a Republican from Eureka, Mo., serving his fourth term in the House.
The Cape Girardeau stop is planned for 4:30 p.m. Friday at Holiday Inn Express at 3253 William St.
