Mo. highway commission awards contracts for construction, repairs

The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded several contracts for Southeast District projects, including construction of a bridge, several asphalt overlays and pavement repairs. Contracts include:n A $1,206,122 contract to Robertson Contractors Inc. to construct a bridge on U.S. 67 in Poplar Bluff, Mo., at the Oak Grove Road intersection.

* A $4,880,000 contract to Pace Construction Co. LLC for an asphalt overlay on U.S. 61, from Highway 77 to Route Y near Sikeston, Mo., and an asphalt overlay of U.S. 61, from U.S. 60 to Interstate 55 in New Madrid County.

* A $49,543 contract to Fronabarger Concreters Inc. for pavement replacements on two locations on U.S. 60 in Butler County.

* A $114,375 contract to Fronabarger Concreters Inc. for concrete pavement repairs on various routes in Pemiscot and New Madrid counties.

* A $172,188 contract to Apex Paving Co. for asphalt pavement repairs on various routes in Pemiscot and New Madrid counties.
