FAYETTE, Mo. -- Authorities say a woman died after her motorcycle crashed into a deer in central Missouri.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol identified the victim as 52-year-old Patricia Pilcher of Fayette. The crash happened Saturday night on Highway 240 in Howard County.
Pilcher was taken to a Columbia hospital, where she was pronounced dead early Sunday.
