SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- A Springfield man is accused of sexually assaulting two girls who were invited to sleepovers at his house.
The Springfield News- Leader reported 31-year-old Forrest Lair was charged Thursday with statutory rape and three counts of statutory sodomy.
A probable-cause statement alleges two girls reported being sexually assaulted in separate incidents at Lair's home this year. One girl said she was assaulted twice, once after being given alcohol.
Another girl reported Lair came into the room where she was sleeping and sexually assaulted her.
Prosecutors issued a warrant for Lair's arrest. Court records don't indicate whether he has an attorney.
